A spectacular escape designed to present you with a fantastic motorbike trip. We begin in Manali and go through the Atal Tunnel to the famed Shingo La mountain pass in the beautiful Zanskar region. We take an excursion to the magnificent Phugtal Monastery, which is a one-hour walk each way, and then continue the trip to Padam's district centre. Another highlight of the journey is the Drang Drung glacier at Pensi-la mountain pass. We spent the night in tents in Gombo rangzom, just below the Sinkula pass, on our way back. Because our excursion will take us on rough gravel paths, your spouse may need to ride in the back-up jeep while we off-road.
You are all asked to meet at Old Manali to begin the fully guided trek from Manali to Manali. The entire expedition will take place on a Royal Enfield Himalayan.
